I was never a tomboy unless you count using computers as a boy thing.  I don't always understand the need stomp through a vacant field full of dead weeds.  Well... I didn't before I took up photography.   My love of this art happened at exactly the right time.  My boys would undoubtedly feel sheltered and I'd absolutely go stir crazy without this hunk of glass, plastic, and metal.  My love of photography happened at JUST the right time for the girly mom of two rough and tumble boys.

I would have had a hard time tromping through a field or playing in water (AGAIN)  without something challenging, fun, and artistic to do.

My view of playing the sprinklers AGAIN!

Now when the work/school day is done. You can find us all happily exploring the backyard or a random vacant lot on the way home.
