I use the Seattle Children's Hospital guideline for breaking a fever which essentially is don't.  I control fevers by continuously wicking as much heat away as I can.  Today I spent the better part of the day skin-to-skin with a 40lb "baby."  When the spot he was on heated up I moved him to a cooler spot on my body.  Sounds sweet but it gets old after about 10 minutes.  :)  I watched A LOT of Netflix on my phone to pass the time.

During fever breaks he watched TV, drank smoothies, and slept.
